During recent months our jewellery designer, Katrina Young, has created an exceptional series of bespoke jewellery for both of our showrooms. Each piece has been designed to complement the stones it incorporates perfectly using the best in hand-craftsmanship alongside CAD design technology.
In this feature we explore some of the beautiful pieces that Katrina has created over the last few months.
§ A 3.55ct oval cut tsavorite hand-chosen for its intense and rich deep green colour. This tsavorite has been hand-set with four brilliant white marquise diamonds. This beautiful ring is also available with a coordinating tsavorite and diamond earrings
§ A 4.82ct pear cut vivid blue tanzanite surrounded round brilliant cut F/VS quality white diamonds. This particular ring is set into a bespoke platinum mount with white diamonds hand-set into the shoulders of the band.
§ A blue-violet octagon cut tanzanite set with a double halo of round brilliant cut white diamonds. This piece has been handset into a bespoke platinum mount with white diamonds hand-set into the shoulders of the band.
§ A 4.09ct oval cushion certified emerald chosen for its excellent cut. This emerald has been set into a unique and floral inspired mount which features 0.78ct F/VS white diamonds.
§ An exceptional 10.88ct Columbian GIA certified emerald, surrounded by 0.64ct F/VS quality white diamonds. This pieces has been set into a bespoke platinum mount.
Alongside the pieces shown above, Katrina is also working on a variety of commissions using gemstones such as: Paraiba tourmaline, bi-colour tourmaline, sapphire and a variety of coloured diamonds.
